From Omar Regan's MySpace Page:
Omar Regan born and raised in Detroit Mi. He was No.3 out of a family of 12. He started writing songs at the age of 9 and performed his first show at 12. He later was offered a single deal from Tommy Boy Records that he turned down while waiting on something better, and he's still waiting. However, he did have the opportunity to perform with Method Man, Redman, Krs One, Sugar Hill Gang, Royce da 5'9, Strike, MU, Undataka, and many others.
Exploring another one of his talents, Omar jumped on stage as a Stand Up Comic, not knowing anything he was booed off the stage. Determined to redeem himself he went up the next week and the same thing happened, but the third time was the charm. He got his first laugh and didn't look back. He went on to audition for a movie and caught the acting bug real strong and in 1999 he left Detroit for California. The road to success has been a long road with a lot of obstacles but Omar knows that as long as he believes and knows with without a doubt, that GOD will never fail him and that whatever he puts effort in, he will achieve, no matter how long it takes, So he is still on the road with his three "Rascals" (his kids), and They will all be there in a minute!

Early Life & Music Career
Omar Regan born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He started writing songs at the age of 9 and performed his first show at 12. In 1999 his music hit mainstream
radio stations in Detroit and he was quickly added to their daily rotation. This exposure attracted such record labels as Dreamworks and Tommy Boy Records.
Omar was later offered a single record deal from Tommy Boy Records, but turned it down in hopes of a better contract. He and his brother formed the group
S.O.A (Slaves of Allah) and performed as the opening act with the likes of Method Man, Redman, KRS-One, Sugar Hill Gang, Royce da 5'9, Strike, MU, Undataka,
and many others.
Acting Career
Later he caught the acted bug and left Detroit for California. While auditioning for different movie roles, he explored another one of his talents and
jumped on stage as a Stand Up Comic. After being spotted on stage, he appeared on the E! reality series, “Fight for Fame†(2006). He won and
signed a year-contract with one of the top agencies in Hollywood called ACME. This appearance spring boarded his career and he was offered many roles.
However, many of the roles conflicted with his image as a father and role model. Searching for movies that were socially thought provoking and that were
beneficial to those who look up to him, he found himself writing and focused on providing the industry with positive clean material.

counseling and marriage workshops and is now focused on inter-faith forums with hope that peace can be brought through understanding and dialogue.
