Biography from MySpace
Orphaned at an early age, Akaash spent his childhood in Queens, New York, with his beloved Aunt May and Uncle Ben. He was not the most popular person in school, and although he had to put up with bullies, he still enjoyed his educational experience.
Akaash had a penchant for Science, and excelled academically. Socially, he split his time between pining after the class sweetheart, Mary Jane Watson, and hanging out with his best friend, millionaire heir Harry Osborn.
One day, on a school trip, Akaash and his classmates visited Columbia University. They toured a lab which used spiders to study genetic engineering. One spider, through radioactive genetic recombination, had been made into a Super Spider, with incredible strength, agility, and perception.
Akaash, who was also given the assignment of taking pictures for the school paper, was bitten by this spider while trying to photograph Mary Jane. Fortunately for him, the amazing abilities of the "Super Spider" had been transferred to him, turning him into a "Spider Man". Ignoring the advice of his uncle, Akaash initially used his newfound powers for material gain: he entered and won a wrestling match with a purportedly lucrative prize.
But, when Akaash apathetically failed to stop a burglar from robbing the wrestling arena, a tragedy followed. That same burglar murdered Akaash’s uncle in a frenzied getaway attempt. This painful episode served as a lesson to Akaash, and he has since dedicated his life to fighting the evils of the world.
He has fought of countless supervillains, even while supporting his widowed aunt and balancing his rigorous academic schedule. It’s not easy, but whenever times get hard, Akaash remembers those valuable words, and he gains the strength to carry on: "With great power comes great responsibility".
